A Tavern Built On Two Things
Rudder & Rose is Lake Norman’s favorite gathering place, and everyone’s welcome. Lifelong local? New to the neighborhood? Just passing through on your way somewhere else? Doesn’t matter. This is where friendships start and the best stories get told.
We’re locals ourselves. We took over a locally owned spot we’d loved for years, gave it a full refurbishment and a serious glow up, and turned it into the boutique music venue Lake Norman was missing. Elevated room, elevated atmosphere, same neighborhood heart.
Live music is the whole reason we’re here. We book real bands, we look after the artists who play our stage, and we put local musicians and local entertainment in front of a room that actually listens. Support this place and you’re supporting them.
The good times don’t stop at the stage. Weekly trivia, weekend sports on the big screens, and cornhole tournaments out on our incredible back patio keep the energy going all week long.
